PASI Introduces the Tanah Abang Community to Cage-Free Eggs and Animal Welfare
Central Jakarta, May 13th, 2026. Perkumpulan Ayam Sejahtera Indonesia (PASI) once again held their regular PASI Knowledge Space program, an educational initiative aimed at increasing public understanding of animal welfare and introducing more informed choices when it comes to chicken’s eggs for families.
Through PASI Knowledge Space, PASI hopes to bring animal welfare education to a broader range of communities. Beyond providing information, the program also encourages consumers to become more aware of where the products they consume come from and to consider animal welfare when making informed choices about the food they purchase.
This time, PASI Knowledge Space was held in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, bringing together more than 20 members of the Lembaga Musyawarah Kelurahan (LMK) Gelora. The participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the session, actively engaging with the educational sessions and discussions. For many participants, animal welfare and cage-free eggs were relatively new topics, this made a valuable and engaging space for discussion. Participants were able to gain new perspectives on animal welfare and explore ethical choices that are also the best for them and the animals.
The PASI Knowledge Space session in Tanah Abang is part of PASI’s continued efforts to raise public awareness of animal welfare and introduce the #BERTELURdenganBEBAS concept to the wider Indonesian community.
